hela Sverige Department XX is an investigative resource for Scania's management. The department consists of two groups responsible for Scania Group strategies and business statistics. In practise, this means compiling of the Scania groups strategic plan, preparation of questions for strategic decision meetings, collection and processing of statistical information.
We are now in search of a new colleague to strengthen the group XXS, Business Statistics.
XXS is responsible for supporting the Scania Group with the following:
• Statistics follow-up and analysis for all product areas; trucks, buses and engines.
• Compilation of reports to support decision meetings in all product areas.
• Development and quality assurance of statistics data in cross functional projects to support decision making throughout the organisation.
We achieve this by:
• Internal and external data collection including current orders, production, delivery and registration statistics.
• Maintenance and development of our database and connected applications containing volume statistics and competitor information.
XXS constantly strives to develop the content and quality of the statistical data that we provide for Scania's Executive management. This includes broadening the content with new markets and segments as well as analysis to support Scania's future development. To strengthen XXS and contribute to this development, we are looking for a new team member, willing to take on the challenge of developing our database and our analysis methods for both existing and new data.
You have a solid education with a major in industrial management, systems development or statistics, a combination is a merit. The group has international contacts and therefore good spoken and written command of the English language is a must, additional languages are desirable. Good skills in both Microsoft Excel and Power Point is a requirement, thus they are important tools in your profession. Experience and knowledge from working at Scania, preferably within marketing or production and/or experience from database development will be to your advantage.
We believe that you are service minded and take great interest in analysis and data capture. You are comfortable working both independently as well as in a team. Your curiosity and feel for working with numbers will help you develop new methods to broaden the content of the results you and your team deliver.
