Vehicle Motions Control at SW and Electronics deliver features and innovations to enable the next generations of self-driving vehicles, active safety technology and electric propulsion. Vehicle Motion Controls aim is to control the vehicle in all six degrees of freedom. The organisation works on early research and advanced engineering projects to industrialize the systems in cross-functional agile teams that cover everything from feature definition, system design and software development to system and vehicle testing.

Vehicle Motion Control work in close cooperation with Active Safety and propulsion departments. We work with analysis and verification of Volvo Cars Vehicle Motion Control related ECU: s and software's. We test, develop and verify in different vehicle build phases. Our cross-functional teams is now looking for a new Analysis Engineer colleague, who is equally enthusiastic about what we do as who we are. Could that be you?

What you'll do

As Analysis Engineer you will function as a tester within Vehicle Motion Control. Your main responsibilities will be to perform development testing and tuning of Brake Control Module Software and/or Vehicle Dynamic Software. Testing will be performed in different environments, such as bench testing and HIL testing as well as integration tests in cars. The activities require a close, analytical and cross-functional cooperation in the development team. You will cooperate closely with other departments such as Active Safety, Propulsion and Brake Modulation, and have daily contact with internal and external suppliers.

Do you fit the profile?

To fit in this role we think that you are a person with a M.Sc. within electrical systems, system controls, mechatronics, automation or equivalent. You have experience from system/function testing, analysis and verification methods and tools. Furthermore, a great plus is if you have experience in working with CANoe or vTESTstudio, automated testing and experience from SW development projects. As a person, you enjoy teamwork, communicate and collaborate well with colleagues as well as suppliers.
