Analysis Engineer- Active Safety

The group Active Safety Sensor Analysis & Verification consists of about 27 people and is responsible for the complete verification chain for sensors and system used for customer functions related with the IntelliSafe innovations. IntelliSafe includes functionalities such as Full auto brake with pedestrian detection, Adaptive cruise control and Pilot assist etc. The section also plays a vital role in the work towards fully autonomous driving vehicles in the Drive Me project. The growing number of sensors and system complexity in the vehicle put higher demands of a comprehensive and efficient verification process. We have a history of relying on vehicle tests but we have a challenge for the future to become more vehicle independent, by the use and development of CAE methods and by simulation but also to a larger extent use the large amount of data which is collected in field tests.

As Analysis Engineer you will, together with the group, be responsible for the complete verification chain, from test methodology, planning, execution/data collection, analysis. You will also be responsible for verifying the sensor performance specification. You have a mathematic approach and an analysis capability on which you base your data collection and test methodology.

Main responsibilities

• Review of sensor performance requirement
• Design Verification Methods (DVMs)
• Support performance-oriented planning of data collection
• Test execution
• Data analysis and test report

Required qualifications

• Engineering degree in Electrical Engineering, Engineering Physics, Mathematics, Automatization, Mechatronics or Computer Science
• Experience in development, verification, and analysis of sensor functions
• Knowledge and experience in Matlab and Simulink
• Fluent in English, written and spoken
• Drivers licence B, valid in Sweden and adequate driving experience
• Experience in working with Active safety and Autonomous Driving functionality is meritorious
• ISO 26262 knowledge is meritorious
• Experience of vehicle and CAE based testing is meritorious
• Knowledge of tools and concepts within the automotive industry such as CANalyzer, CAN, FlexRay, Autosar is an advantage
