We are searching for a Finance Manager to support the General Manager of Sweden and acting as the key contact on behalf of Nordic Finance Environment.
The role will mainly be supporting AIG Swedens operations in the coordination of strategic priorities, analysis of business unit and functional plans as well as strategies and results. Further the role will include involvement in reporting areas as well as daily operational finance tasks. It is a hand on role where it is important to be able to get into details and transform these to executive information.
The position allows for a high level of initiative and autonomy to add value, to take corrective action and institute new processes or activities.
Management information reporting to Sweden Branch ExCo is a vital part of the role.The role reports direct to the Nordic CFO with matrix reporting line to General Manager of Sweden Branch and will be a key player of the Nordic Finance team to deliver quality financial insight as well as a strong controlling environment.
Key Responsibilities;
• Support the business and GM in key initiatives.
• Support Finance leadership in transformation initiatives.
• Deliver variance analysis with deep insight to stakeholders.
• Lead or participate in ad hoc teams or projects.
Position Requirements;
The successful candidate thrives under the challenge of working in an ambiguous environment and can work without a lot of direction but still as part of a team.
A good background for the role might be from consultancy or a business analyst role.
• Relevant degree: Business preferably Master in Finance
• Ability to engage with multiple high level stakeholders across departments and the EMEA region, incl. country and regional executives
• Excellent communication and influencing skills
• Business acumen
• Deep knowledge about financial areas as well as proven analytical skills
• Business savvy in creation of reports for Senior Management
• Personal integrity and high organizational awareness
• Good decision making and mediation skills
• Comfortable with changing priorities and juggling many various functions and projects
• Ability to synthesize and produce concise summary information
• Languages required: fluent in English and Swedish
• MS-Office skills (advanced Excel)
• Knowledge about SAP is an advantage.
