About Group IT
Group IT is located in Sweden, Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania. We are 1400 employees responsible for running the bank, developing and maintening business strategic and central systems in Swedbank.
All development is managed in projects and we deliver approximately 600 projects and pre-studies during a business year.
Through understanding and acting from the needs of our internal customers, we offer the group competitive IT-solutions which support new products and high level services to our clients.
Do you want to be part of leading the change in the agile journey for Swedbank?
Swedbank and the industry are standing in front of a major change. We are in the midst of the new digitization era. The Development Efficiency Program (DEP) has been set up in order to support the divisions in their agile journey and to increase efficiency and change the bank. This is a large transformation program run in close co-operation between IT and business, in order to obtain more value and an improved time to market for Swedbank IT investments. During the transformation we will reorganize our resources into stable cross-functional teams delivering for a value stream.
Assignment specification
Delivery Improvement is team in Group IT responsible for the agile roll out and the DEP program in Swedbank. Delivery Improvement consists of a group of experienced agile coaches, with extensive knowledge in coaching and training. The agile coaches supports the organization in our ambition to become an efficient, adaptive bank with continues delivery of valuable services/products to the end customers. An Agile coach is often an experienced ex-Scrum Master with passion for agile practices and principles.
Responsibilities for the agile coach include:
The strategic application of agile methods within the organization
Support the units to define appropriate value streams and cross functional teams
Support the units in creating their own transformation teams for the agile journey
Trainings for teams, managers and others who are effected
Coaching of Agile Product Owners, Scrum Masters and teams
Support the teams to become awesome
Conducting miscellaneous workshops and talks in relation to agile methods and way of working
Actively assist in identifying and removing hinders on organization level
We are looking for you who have a university degree in engineering or equivalent and who have previous experience from an IT Agile /Lean transformation. You are an agile evangelist who practiced as an agile coach. From previous experience you have hands-on experience of development and hereby learnt the benefits from working Lean and Agile, and not just the theories behind it.
You like to keep yourself updated and follow the Agile and Lean trends, you are familiar with e.g. Mary Poppendieck, Jurgen Apello and Henrik Kniberg.
We believe you by nature have good communication skills, are a good team player, self-driven and used to take own initiatives. You should be strong in building cooperation and networks and have the ability to build confidence. Further on you have a good understanding of business interaction with IT. You have a pragmatic view and are solution oriented.
