The Sales Region EMEA is responsible for the overall management and development of the distribution network as well as managing sales and marketing in Europe - Middle East - Africa. Headquartered in Eskilstuna, Sweden, Region EMEA operates across four hubs namely North, West, East and South. Hub South covers the continent of Africa and consists of 55 countries covered by 14 dealers (1 owned / 13 independent). As an Aftermarket Manager you are the main interface between dealer and Volvo CE, for activities related to the aftermarket business and dealer development, for assigned markets As an aftermarket manager you work in a team with the Business Manager, who has same responsibilities, but for sales activities. You will report to Aftermarket Director Hub South. Core Responsibilities . Drive the Aftermarket business development within the assigned geographical area. . Commercially responsible for dealer Aftermarket performance such as sales targets etc. . Manage the resolution of any problems or issues between Volvo CE and the dealer. . In close cooperation with the Business Manager develop a yearly dealer business plan. . Through regular presence in the assigned markets ensure a high level of market knowledge. . Identify and implement activities to improve the dealer aftermarket competence / ability to support Volvo CE equipment.
Required knowledge & experience . University degree and/or >5 years industry experience . Sound construction equipment business experience . Aftermarket knowledge and experience . English is required, French and Arabic is an advantage. . Technical and commercial understanding/experience . Able to respond to travel needs within the designated markets . Experience in working in an international environment and interest for different cultures . Business negotiation skills/experience .
