Aeronautics Centre for Additive Manufacturing are now recruiting to an exciting position as a Design Engineer.
You will be a part of Aeronautics Centre for Additive manufacturing, comprising of AM experts from different aspects. Together we enable the development and delivery of AM to Aeronautics. We are today 4 employees with 2 more on the way in, and with plans for further growth.
The function will have the opportunity to develop AM solutions for SAAB Aeronautics products.
Responsibilities include:

Develop AM solutions and applications, from idea to printed product
*
Participate in AM R&D projects
*
Participate in cross functional workshops as an AM expert
*
Support Design Engineers in the development of new AM articles
*
Participate in the internal Aeronautics AM team, and represent Aeronautics in SAAB Group AM projects.

To be suitable for this role we believe you have:

Experience from either:
*
Designing AM solution, preferably in Catia
*
Design work at SAAB Aeronautics, with a large drive to learn AM
*
Experience working in large design organizations in collaboration with specialist areas, such as stress analysis.

Have an understanding on how to utilize AM technique

Our mission is to bring Additive Manufacturing to Aeronautics as an industrial capability. We support Aeronautics with technological solutions and support. From R&T, Design, Production to aftermarket.
