Who are we?
In the Collision Prevention group, we primarily work with collision avoidance-related features. With sensor input, we predict future states for both the ego vehicle and surrounding traffic and decide which action the truck should take to avoid or mitigate an imminent collision. Examples of such actions are inform, warn, brake, or steer.
In the group, we work tightly together in agile teams, where the journey towards our common goal is as important as helping and supporting each other in our daily delivery. We work throughout the whole development chain, from requirement generation and concept design to function development, simulation, tests in prototype trucks, but also in the later product development phases for industrialization.
About the role
As a member of our team your main tasks will be to:
Be up to date with the legal demands and EuroNCAP
Understand customer demands
Give input to sensor requirements and analyze sensor performance results, to translate them to what that means for the function performance
Writing and managing function requirements both on a high level, end-user function Requirement Specification, and on function/application SW level, Logic Design Specification
Functional Safety (ISO-26262)
Contribute to HMI solution through discussion and reviews
Define and specify signals, as well as making sure that the logic design is correct
Write use cases and test cases for V3 and V5
Perform tests
Analyze error reports/test feedback
Be the interface towards aftermarket
Tools
SE-tool/System Weaver for requirements, test cases and, logic design
Vector CANalyzer for analysis of error reports and test results
Who are you?
We don't know you yet, but we believe that you are a solution-oriented person who enjoys working cross-functionally and building relationships. You have a M.Sc. degree in Engineering Physics, Automation, Signal processing, Electronics, Mechatronics, Computer Science or similar. We are looking for you who have senior experience in developing electronic or software systems, preferable with a combination of functional-, system-, hardware and software development for embedded systems.

You have excellent communication skills.
Fluent in English, both written and spoken, level of C1 minimum.
Knowledge and experience of ISO 26262 and its application.
It's meritorious if you have knowledge and practical experience from other related standards, e.g., SOTIF is a merit.
