We need to strengthen our finance department with a resource handling the accounts payable flows within the West Atlantic group. The role involves cooperation with a number of different internal stakeholders as well as external contacts with vendors. A large part of the invoice flow relates to components, materials and services needed to operate our aircraft fleet and those invoices are handled in a separate operational system with an interface to the accounting system. The employment is a temporary position, while our colleague is on parental leave.
Main responsibilities:
• Scanning and registration of vendor invoices for the entities in West Atlantic group.
• Matching of invoices against work orders for operational costs.
• Cooperating with logistics & purchasing department to secure invoicing correctness.
• Coding of invoices and sending for approval.
• Participating in book close activities.
• Communicating with vendors around invoicing routines.
Required profile and background:
• The preferred candidate should ideally have a minimum of two years of experience working with similar tasks.
• A university degree is not required but basic accounting knowledge is needed in the position.
• Experience from working with Microsoft Navision is advantageous.
• Fluency in English is required as the group works in an international setting, both internally and externally.
