We are looking for an Accounting Senior Associate for an international company in Stockholm (Solna).

We are currently looking for a full time Senior Accounting Associate to the client's hub in Stockholm. The contract is a 12 month temporary assignment (with possibility for extension). The preferred start date is September 18th 2023. The company implements flex work including work from home, however a minimum of 2 days presence on site per week is requested based on workload and team meetings.

The role:
You will have a key role with a wide range of responsibilities for Nordic and Baltic entities. You will monitor and check that all accounting matters are handled timely and accurately as well as ensure that accounting and financial reporting is accurate according to corporate and local accounting principles. As part of the finance and Sales and Marketing Effectiveness team, you will report to the Accounting manager.

Tasks and responsibilities:
Daily accounting operations according to corporate (US GAAP) and local (SGAAP) accounting principles
Monthly and quarterly closing, asset management, payroll processing
Monthly/quarterly reconciliation of key balance sheet accounts (e.g. cash, AR/AP, accruals etc.) to general ledger
Preparation of monthly/quarterly statistical reports (e.g. Intrastat, turnover report etc.)
Support the team to perform internal and external audits and implement recommended improvements, including end to end management of requests from assigned auditors
Co-ordinate preparation of tax returns and TP documentation across Nordic and Baltic entities Ensure financial integrity and compliance drives local SOX controls and IICC certification
Optimize and improve selected in-house processes to increase efficiency by building excel tools and leveraging available data


You will have a broad international contact network, and work with:
Logistics & Pricing Nordic & Baltic
Finance & budget team
Business planners
Global accounting team


Minimum requirements:
University Degree or equivalent diploma in Finance/Accounting
At least five years of experience in financial department
Demonstrated excellence of technical knowledge of accountancy (US GAAP and local country accounting principles), relevant laws, local taxes, and accounting systems/processes
Demonstrated capability to learn quickly, being open and flexible to changes, in a multinational environment
Excellent English (both written and verbal) is essential as the company language is English. Knowledge of Swedish is a strong plus, and Norwegian, Danish or Finnish, is considered as a plus.
Strong Excel skills are required (Pivot tables, and table functions such VLOOKUP, MATCH, INDEX). The recruitment process includes a basic knowledge check


Preferred requirements:
Experience from Nordic and Baltic countries, preferably in an international setup within the pharmaceutical industry
Experience of cooperation with Finance Shared Service centres.
Experience of preparation Financial statements, preferably for K3 companies in Sweden and consolidation
Excellent skills in ERP systems, preferably SAP

This is a full-time consultant position through Incluso in Stockholm. Start is ASAP and the contract period is 12 months to begin with, possibility of extension after that.
