Arbetsuppgifter
TO DO:

* perform and supervise Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and General Ledger accounting duties to include developing procedures to ensure all transactions are properly recorded

* manage the processing of all accounting transactions and ensure that they are implemented in accordance with corporate policy and Sarbanes Oxley regulations

* compile and prepare all accounting reports for the monthly/quarterly reporting to our headquarters in the US according to US-GAAP rules

* ensure and prepare timely and accurate balance sheet reconciliations that have identified and justified all balances

* preparation of the statutory accounts

* perform all management activities required to run an accounting division with a staff size of approximately five

* help implementing, monitoring and updating controls for Sarbanes Oxley compliance

* ensure compliance with company policies and Sarbanes Oxley regulations

* lead process improvement projects to increase effectiveness and compliance

* work closely with other departments

* oversee the supervision of personnel, which includes work allocation, training, and problem resolution; motivates employees to achieve productivity and performance

Erfarenhet
KNOW HOW:

* thorough accounting education, minimum of 3-5 years of accounting experience
* knowledge of accounting principles, procedures, and standards
* hands-on approach - combination of management and personal production
* strong analytical skills and attention to detail
* problem solving skills
* disciplined, well organized, flexible and prepared to work in tight timeframes
* strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with other business functions
* experience in financial systems, preferably Oracle Financials and Microsoft Office
* enjoy working in an international team
* fluent in English and either French or a Scandinavian language.
