For an assignment for approximaly one year, with possibility to extension, we are now looking for an experienced controller or accountant. You will work as Accounting Manager at our central Shared
Service entity - Alfa Laval Europe AB - in Lund, Sweden.Our shared service entity in Lund supports Alfa Laval sales company in Europe with finance related activities related to future common ERP
system One4AL.
Position:
As an Accounting Manager you are a member of the Alfa Laval Europe AB /Shared Service Management team. Your task is to contribute not only in accounting/reporting related areas but also in strive
towards our shared service vision. You will play an active part in developing processes so that One4AL is deployed with appropriate financial control. You will have direct management responsibility of
a central team of five employees within the Accounting/Reporting group. Your group has primary responsibility for accounting and internal (MRS) reporting in relation to One4AL. The group has a firm
grip on the common chart of account and cost centre structure, making sure that they cater for our future needs when replacing local ERP systems. In the near further there are development needs when
it comes to co-ordinating reporting and forecasting activities in the western European sales companies. An extra plus is if you have experience of factory accounting as this will be on our radar
screen in the period.
Profile:
You have a university degree in Finance/Economics with focus on accounting/finance/controlling and minimum 5 years experience from similar tasks and international experience, including management
experience. You have a good understanding of accounting and finance, a clear business interest and have experience of working in management teams. Sales company experience will be regarded as a plus.
You need to be able to work with both day-to-day accounting activities as well as more complex problem solving. Since the job requires extensive contacts both with our IT/IS organisation as well as
with our sales companies- you find it easy to communicate and co-operate across functions, organizational levels as well as country borders. To use and develop efficient IT-tools as well as speaking
and writing in English is natural to you.
