hela Sverige The person in this role requires a deep understanding of all tax-related processes in a large manufacturing company with international operations, including international VAT issues, statutory and IRFS Corporate tax calculations and reporting. The role is a 'hands-on' position.
The role requires a capability to understand, support and address expectations of key stakeholders. Key stakeholders are for instance Shared Services Centre (SSC), Group Tax & Group Controlling, internal and external auditors. The person should have strong communication skills to be successful. The role requires a person that is used to deliver on time, driven by making improvements and used to work with both overall issues and details.
YOUR TASKS
• Responsibility for corporate tax and VAT calculations and reporting, withholding tax etc
• Actively take part in tax related tasks with Project Controllers
• Monitor and assist HR on personnel related tax issues including preparation of VAT declarations etc
• IFRS experience
• Prepare and/or validate journal vouchers, authorize Tax related reconciliations for Balance sheet accounts
• Review and actively work to ensure execution of internal auditing and process deliveries
• Actively take part in the work with the Annual reports for the Swedish companies
• Ensure on time deliveries to the various stakeholders, Group, Corporate, controllers etc.
• Provide support to the stakeholders
• Work proactively with the stakeholders to avoid any process failures
• Monitor Service Level Agreements (SLA) /Operating Level Agreements (OLA) and actively take part to make improvements
• Actively work to identify, address and execute improvements in processes
• University degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration
• Minimum 5 to 7 years of relevant work experience
• Experience from a corporate ERP system is required. Baan is advantageous or SAP also beneficial.
• Experience from the Tax Department of a larger international company and/or auditing company, or from the Swedish Tax Authorities
• Strong communication and diplomacy skills
• Open minded, able to focus under pressure
• English and Swedish business fluent knowledge is mandatory for this role
