hela Sverige The Scandinavian cluster Finance department is looking to offer the right person a position as Accounting and Reporting Manager heading up the Accounting and Reporting team of 6 direct reports. The position is located at the Maersk Line Scandinavia cluster head office in Gothenburg where you will be working in a young and dynamic finance team and you will be reporting directly to the CFO for Maersk Line Scandinavia.
Job role
The working day in the Finance & Accounting department is challenging and performance oriented with a strong focus on constant care, uprightness and accountability.
The Accounting and Reporting Manager needs to be a visible partner to the business and striving towards delivering value adding professional services through relationships and excellence in performance.
By actions demonstrated and values shared, drive and develop a world class finance department through strong leadership.
The main role of the Accounting and Reporting Manager is to actively engage in activities of Financial Accounting & Reporting including, but not limited to, month, quarter and year end reporting, to execute efficient and accurate book keeping, accountancy and related reconciliations in order to generate high quality accounting reporting and information for internal and external stakeholders.
Ensuring that legal entities are managed in accordance with local statutory regulations and global/area company guidelines (APMM-GAP).
The position includes responsibility for Accounting, Reporting (ATR) and Payables (RTP) processes and tasks for the agency as well as payables for Maersk line.
Accurate and timely delivery of the complete period closing in SAP/R3 as well as HFM reporting for Maersk line agency is a challenging and stimulating responsibility. Experience and skill working with these systems and processes are therefore preferred.
Business process owner for finance processes related to ATR and RTP within the Scandinavian cluster.
Governance of our Global Service Centre in regards to ATR and RTP deliverables.
The candidate
The ideal candidate takes ownership and has a personal drive and willingness to participate in cross functional projects.
We expect the candidate to be a highly effective communicator and representative for finance and Maersk Line.
The position also requires the candidate to be thorough and structured with a high attention to detail and quality along with a desire to evaluate and drive improvements of the current processes. Furthermore the position requires excellent analytical skills.
Since we operate in a performance driven environment, the ability to meet required objectives and deadlines on a timely and accurate manor are highly valued, and also your ability to influence you surroundings in a positive way to further enhance the progress and delivery of Maersk Line.
Fluency in English, both verbally and in writing is required - Strong in a Scandinavian language preferred yet not required.
We think that you have:
• 5+ years of demonstrated financial leadership experience, including accounting and reporting.
• Has documented experience of SAP/R3 FI module
• Experience of Hyperion Management System.
• Knowledge of IFRS reporting
• Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance or related.
