Renault Finance Nordic is now looking for an experienced accountant to be a part of our continuous journey. This is a full time permanent position located in our office in Kista, close to communications.
Main responsibilities:
In this role you will work in a team of 5 dedicated employees and manage the daily and monthly accounting tasks in cooperation with the Finance team members for wholesale, retail, insurance, EV, Care maintenance and services covering Sweden and Denmark.
• Direct responsibility for the day-to-day accounting i.e. general ledger entries, AR, AP, Bank, with the main responsibility of AR
• Perform monthly close activities including prepare journal entries, prepare account reconciliations, and upload files to internal consolidation system
• Ensure quality financial reporting in terms of completeness, correctness, timeliness, and compliance in our daily accounting operations
• Perform monthly Balance review
• Assist with VAT and other statutory reporting
• Assist with internal and external audits
• Review and maintain internal accounting policies and procedures, including development of operational procedures and documentation of data flow
Support the team with ad-hoc projects and system implementation, help to streamline processes and improve existing procedures
Knowledge and skills:
• Accounting experience and an in-depth understanding of accounting principles and business practices
• Knowledge of IFRS standards is an advantage
• Advanced MS Excel skills
• Fluency in Swedish and/or English is required,
• Ability to meet a constant stream of deadlines, ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize work in an efficient manner
• Solution oriented, open-minded and driven, an energetic personality with a positive attitude
• Effective communication skills
Proficient in SAP and Visma is highly desired
