We are looking for a go-getter Accountant to join the highly motivated Finance team at iZettle who are committed to delivering timely professional insight and results in support of the rapid growth of the entire iZettle organisation.
As Accountant you are an integral part of the Accounting Team. Your primary role will include general ledger bookings, monthly and quarterly closings, reporting, but also analysing transactions and trends and putting together standards and processes for the team to follow in the future. You will also take an active role in growth and improvement projects within accounting and finance
The whole business works closely as a team so tasks may also include supporting various ad hoc requirements from both within Finance and others from across the wider iZettle group. For example you may be involved in shaping the influence of new product development on our processes and results. iZettle is a fast growing company which experiences continuous change and (as a result) the tasks and areas of responsibility may vary and grow over time. As iZettle has an international presence the role also includes contact with various colleagues, partners, authorities etc. around the world.

Requirements:
We are looking for a self-driven, social and thorough person. You enjoy working towards deadlines, have a good knowledge of accounting and the ability to work in a collaborative, high-paced environment. Furthermore you are solution oriented, a fast learner, passionate about numbers and highly ambitious.
• A university degree in finance or accounting
• A proven successful track record within the accounting area
• 2-4 years relevant working experience
• An entrepreneurial spirit
• Fast learner, passionate, driven and ambitious
• Fluent in Swedish and English
Additional languages are a merit as well as previous knowledge of the Jeeves ERP system and IFRS accounting standards.
