One of our great global and most fast-growing fintech clients are now searching for a Senior Accountant to join their finance team in Stockholm.
Your main tasks as a Senior Accountant:
• Post business transactions, process invoices, verify financial data for use in maintaining accounts payable records
• Provide other clerical support necessary to pay the obligations of the organization
• Maintain meticulous records of outstanding payables
• Ensure the accuracy of the company's financial documents for payment, auditing and tax purposes
• Protect against unintentional overpayment, apply controls and procedures
• Practice effective monitoring to ensure payments are made to vendors in a timely manner
• Perform Book Close Activities
• Internal Customer Support, Supplier Communication and Escalation Management
• Process redesign and improvement
• Compliance coordination and risk management, Audit support
• Reporting and record control
• Bank process supervision
• Input bookkeeping data and record keeping per accounting policies and procedures
• Reconcile bank statements, handle discrepancies
• Verify invoices with reviewers to ensure goods or services were received before issuing payment to vendors
• System ownership, access and coordination
• Process Documentation

Qualifications
• You have an academic degree in Finance, Economics, Business administration or similar.
• You have great bookkeeping and accounting skills
• You are fluent in English, both written and oral.
• You have hands-on experience in an enterprise level accounting software (they use SAP S4).
• Financial industry experience is a strong plus
• Meritorious: Certified Accountant qualification (e.g., ACCA, CPA, CIMA)

Admission and Application
Full time position, 40h/week. The position will as soon as possible, and the assignment is expected to run until 2023-12-29 with possibility of extension.
