hela Sverige Do you have a passion for building magical worlds filled with 3D foliage and other organic elements while taking on more technically focused task at a small, driven and creative studio? Then look no further!
We're currently looking for a 3D environment artist with experience in set dressing/world building who would love to make the game Distant Bloom flourish with life. You would work with programs such as Unreal Engine 4 while showcasing knowledge in everything from Blender to Maya and Photoshop while taking on more technically focused tasks within the art team.
As a part of Ember Trail you'll be working in a small, creative and driven team that values communication and being a jack-of-all-trades to work with the other teams when needed. We're looking for someone who:
• Minimum 2 years' experience / 1 shipped game
• Ability to design and create high quality stylized 3D environment assets and set dressing/world building, focusing mainly on foliage and organic elements.
• Self-motivation, good communication skills, and a great team-player attitude.
Highly desired:
• Proficient with standard industry tools such as: Modo/Maya/Blender, ZBrush, Substance Painter, Photoshop.
• Experience working with lighting and post-processing in Unreal Engine 4.
• Solid understanding of colour, form, lighting and composition.
• A genuine interest in video games.
Bonus:
• Experience working with shaders and material in Unreal Engine 4; creation and optimization.
• Experience working with lighting and post-processing in Unreal.
• Have an interest in Game/Level design
• Write scripts and tools in our supported applications.
Start date: As soon as possible
