hela Sverige We are developing end to end network solutions like the Evolved IP Network (EIN) solution, Network Integrated Wifi (NIW) solution and Software Defined Networking (SDN) solutions. PAIB/DUIB is developing the new network architecture with applying SDN principles at the network edge and Colud systems to open new revenue opportunities and costs saving for network operators.
The Service Provider SDN vision, developed in cooperation with telecommunication providers, expands in the following ways:
• Integrated network control - a unified control layer controls the data center and network as an integrated entity, in order to deliver the best user experience.
• Orchestrated network and cloud management - a unified approach that includes legacy network management and new cloud management systems. It is this end-to-end orchestration that enables flexible service creation, which in turn makes the network dynamic, adaptive and agile
• Service exposure - the SDN architecture provides network awareness to the application layer through service exposure.
We are looking for a Senior Technical Coordniator based in Kista/Sweden responsible for technical coordination of the SDN solution and system develpment activities.
The position includes coordination with involved node PDUs and teams in India, Sweden, Spain, Germany and US as well as the techncial alignment with involved product lines.
Areas of responsibility:
• Technical content of the solution release including technical implementation of the solution, quality, priorities, requirement tracing and Statement of Compliance (SoC)
• Coordination of technical scope of the solution including alignment of requirements and use cases with involved node PDUs
• Assure product quality according to processes, fulfillment of Stone tablets, TR-handling, review process
• Main interface to PL for technical scope of the solution release
• Main contact person for technical issues for the solution release
• Coordinate efforts with different node PDUs, working closely with system managers and solution architects
• Provide technical consulting and e2e solution expertise and transfer knowledge to development centers
• Work closely with the region EP teams to translate the customer needs, and technology opportunities into detailed technical offering, solutions and proposals
Qualifications
• Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields with 7+ years of relevant experience
• Experience from Technical Coordination in Development programs
• Knowledge in SDN, NFV, Virtualization, Open DayLight, Cloud Systems, packet core, IP, O&M
• Knowledge of network architectures and e2e solution aspects as well as network services and applications
• Excellent skills in coordinating and cooperating with multiple stakeholder
• Proactive & responsible communication, written and spoken
• Creative problem solving ability and the drive to think strategically
• Good knowledge of Ericsson product portfolio
• Fluent in English language, knowledge of additional languages is a plus
• Must be an independent professional with the right attitude, qualifications and experience
As Technical Coordinator, you play a key role in securing the solution and product releases with right scope and quality.
You will work in a globally distributed team. This position will require travel.
