The automotive area in Semcon consists of approximately 400 engineers in Sweden and approximately 1700 engineers in total worldwide. Our biggest operations are in Sweden and Germany but we also have major operations in India, Brazil, UK and China.
Semcon Calculation & Simulation (CAE) is responsible for structural and fluid dynamic simulations for our customers in Sweden, Norway and Denmark. We work in close cooperation with the other simulation departments in our global network.
Semcon CAE is now looking to expand its team for crash and safety related simulations in Trollhättan.
Your profile:
• MSc or PhD in Mechanical Engineering or similar
• +3 years of experience in the Automotive industry
• Experience from crash simulations using explicit codes e.g. LS-Dyna, PamCrash or Abaqus Explicit is mandatory
• We use Ansa, Hypermesh and Medina as preprocessors
You will be working in an international environment which demands a good knowledge in English and German is considered an additional qualification.
