Multimedia Telephony Application Server (MTAS) and IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS) are mandatory products in Ericsson?s Voice Over LTE and Multimedia telephony solution. Moving to 4G/LTE and beyond, the number of customers and active subscribers using MTAS is growing rapidly. IMS offers a standardized way to deliver convenient IP-based consumer and enterprise services to fixed, mobile and cable community - enabled by one common core and control.
It is the cornerstone of the evolution of current networks to a single, all-IP based network where all types of services (4G/LTE, messaging, telephony, etc.) and media (voice, video, pictures, text etc.) can be integrated into a single user experience. We are located in Kista close to the Ericsson headquarter office.

We work in X-functional teams where everyone is flexible to perform several tasks (design, function test, system test and system management) to develop features in the most efficient way.
We are looking for one experienced SW Developer, who will be working with the MTAS Charging team, using C++ and TTCN as the programming languages. Over time we expect you to take on several roles.

You should be genuinely interested in all aspects of software development, since we expect you to take on various roles over time. We are evolving into a continuous integration and continuous delivery process where we expect everyone being involved in all development phases.

Required Competencies
BSc or MSc in Computer science or equivalent
Good to have Competencies
Programming languages: C++, TTCN, Java. Other scripting languages
OO Design and refactoring
Domain Knowledge: Protocol implementation and testing, IMS, SIP, Voice over IP, Diameter, SS7, 3GPP Charging,
Development Environment: Linux, TSP/Dicos
Other skills: test design, test automation and trouble shooting
